In the world of Silicon Valley startups, a few minutes can turn an idea into an opportunity: the time it takes to deliver a pitch, where entrepreneurs and innovators must communicate value and vision with precision and impact.

In this session, Jeff Cabili, Lecturer at Stanford University Continuing Studies, will guide participants through one of the key tools of contemporary leadership: the art of pitching. The ability to tell a story clearly, convincingly, and memorably is what allows people to move from simply being heard to truly influencing, engaging, and leading others.

Drawing on real cases from the Silicon Valley ecosystem and practical exercises, this workshop will offer insights and immediately applicable tools to communicate a message with clarity, credibility, and consistency, ultimately helping participants develop a more authoritative and effective leadership style.

In particular, participants will:

  • understand the logic and structure of an effective pitch capable of clearly communicating the value of an idea
  • acquire expressive tools and techniques to present an idea in a clear, concise, and persuasive way, developing greater confidence and impact in their communication style
  • strengthen their ability to engage different audiences—from investors to members of their own teams—using communication as a lever for leadership.
